Journey From Grief to Healing

The New Day Journal Program –  A Journey from Grief to Healing

New Grief Support Starting first week of March!

The Grief Support Ministry is offering a new session of the New Day Grief Support Program. There will be two sessions:  Mondays, 1:00 – 2:30 pm, March 1 through May 3, 2021, and Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm, March 3 through May 5, 2021. There will be 10 weekly sessions ending with a Memorial Mass.  The program will be in the church office library. This is not a therapy session but based on the sharing of one’s thoughts, feelings and experiences with others in similar situations.  Please register by Tuesday, February 23.  To register or for more information, please call Dotye 221-5296 ext. 107 or email Dotye at dotstanford@sjbcathedral.org.

Grief is a normal and natural reaction to the death of a loved one. Few of us are prepared for the long journey of grief that is at time devastating, frightening and lonely. If you are saddened by the recent loss of a loved one, join us as we talk about and offer steps to work through the grieving process.
