Safe Environment

Policies and program, as set forth by the Diocese of Shreveport, recognize that sexual and other abusive misconduct with minors is a special problem with a profound impact on the lives of those affected.  They are in place to provide for a safe environment for all children and persons who come in contact with those who minister, are employed, or volunteer in service of the Church.

NOTE: When attending an initial training session at another location, please be sure to print your name on the Roster and the Church parish you attend.  If you plan on doing ANY volunteer work of any sorts for The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans where our Youth are involved, you MUST be Safe Environment Certified.

ALL PSR TEACHERS MUST BE CERTIFIED BEFORE THEY CAN BE ALLOWED TO TEACH PSR,            NO EXCEPTIONS
