Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic lay organization that offers person-to-person service to individuals in need, and may provide financial assistance, food, consultation or advice. At the Cathedral we have the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans & the St. Catherine of Siena Conferences. Consider being a part of this Society helping those in need.
St. Raphael’s Guild helps the needy and elderly of the parish, and serve as greeters at funerals. They also host bingo games at local nursing homes. Would you like to join our Guild? Call the Office for information.
Bereavement Group assists families who have lost a loved one, by visiting them, attending the funeral services and keeping in contact with the family as needed. Would you like to join our group? Call the Office for information.
Ministers of Care take Holy Communion to those unable to attend Mass, and serve as the contact between the parish and those who are homebound, in nursing homes or in hospitals. We believe they are active members of our Church and can assist the community through prayer and support. Consider being a part of this caring ministry.
Kairos Prison Ministry is a multi-denominational group that assists inmates to develop a Christian community inside the walls of prison. New volunteers are always needed.
Knights of Columbus are men who are willing to help further the kingdom of God through works of charity and physical labor. They assist the parish in the upkeep of our church grounds, and take part in activities throughout the year. New members are always welcome.

Altar Society assures that our church is prepared for Sunday Masses. They prepare the cathedral and the chapel for Mass, clean the sanctuary, prepare the candles, polish the sacred vessels, launder the sacred linen, clean the marble altars and statues, change the votive candles, replace the Holy Water, etc!! Sacristans do immediate preparation for Mass. They open & close the church, assure that all items such as hosts, wine, books, and vessels are in place for the service, and properly store all items after Mass.
Children of Light Prayer Group meets every Wednesday, 7-9 pm in the Chapel. They attend Mass monthly, sing, give praise and worship to God, and expect and receive the manifestations of the charisms of the Holy Spirit.
