On Monday, October 2, at 6:30 p.m., Father Ubald will offer a Mass with Healing Prayer in the Cathedral. Father Ubald preaches love, “I have preached for a long time that the only way to free people and heal them of their inner wounds is through reconciliation and forgiveness or pardon.” In 2009, he began preaching to the victims of the 1994 genocide helping them forgive the perpetrators. He has seen the fruits of his vocation, as he has made it his mission to bring the healing power of forgiveness to a nation devastated by the genocide that killed almost one million people – parishioners, family and friends. Please invite your friends to join you for these two unforgettable experiences.
Father Ubald, a Rwanda Genocide survivor, lost over 70 members of his family and over 45,000 parishioners and now brings healing to his people, preaching forgiveness and implementing reconciliation programs.
From the words of Pope Francis: Forgiveness sets our hearts free and allows us to start anew. Forgiveness gives hope. Without forgiveness, the Church is not built up.
Invite friends & family to join you for the movie on Sunday.
